Nike Gives the Air Max Plus a Clean “Triple White” Makeover

Straying from its usual colorful releases for the Air Max Plus, Nike recently released a clean all-white look for the '90s model. This time around different white tones of the "Triple White" colorway serve to highlight the sleek multi-material design of the shoe.

The "Triple White" Air Max Plus features a white leather upper accented by the striking rib overlays signature to the model. While a matching white Tuned Air sole unit and Tn heel marking round up the design of the new "Triple White" colorway.

Priced at €160 EUR (approximately $195 USD), the "Triple White" Nike Air Max Plus is available now at retailers like Allike.

Future to Co-Produce Director X’s ‘Superfly’ Remake

Superfly is getting a remake from Canadian music video director Director X. The film tells the story of a cocaine dealer named Youngblood Priest looking to strike his last big deal in order to get out of the drug game. According to Deadline, Trevor Jackson will be playing Priest while Jason Mitchell -- who played Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton -- will star as his business partner Eddie.

Rapper Future will be co-producing the film and curating the soundtrack. 21 Savage is also reported to be involved in the film in some way, but his exact role hasn't been revealed. The original 1972 film is soundtracked by legendary singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer Curtis Mayfield.

ih nom uh nit Combines a Flurry of Artistic Influences for Fall/Winter 2018

ih nom uh nit took much of the same quirky design elements from its Spring/Summer 2018 collection and reapplied it in a fresh way for fall/winter. Fronted by internet influencer Luka Sabbat, we see a wide assortment of seasonal staples reinterpreted in such a manner that fuse distinct design elements with one another. For instance, some items highlight mixed material compositions, while others marry graphic imagery with deconstructed fraying techniques, amongst others.

Standout pieces from the lineup include the sequin-embellished cross-knit pullover, the zipped jacket featuring renaissance-style impressions and the graphic T-shirt spotlighting a center cutout creatively resembling a framed portrait painting -- complete with tasseled accents. Kendrick Lamar Reportedly Looking at $20-40 Million USD Publishing Deal

Kendrick Lamar is reportedly looking at a new publishing deal that could net him in the range of $20 to $40 million USD. According to Billboard, the move comes because his current Warner/Chappell deal has expired. Lamar's management at Top Dawg Entertainment is allegedly considered a bid for $28 million and another for $23 million, $11 million of which would be acquired upon signing. "Such offers would likely be for Lamar’s entire catalog," Billboard notes. "But the terms Lamar's camp is seeking weren’t clear."

Lamar's DAMN. was the Top Billboard 200 Album of 2017 and was the album of the year at the GRAMMY Awards. The Compton rapper had total album sales of 1.13 million units last year and 2.63 million track sales, according to Nielsen Music. His album consumption units added up to 4.135 million units. In total, Kendrick Lamar has generated 9.5 million album consumption units throughout his entire career.

A Closer Look at the Dr. Martens x BAPE Collaboration

After showcasing its full collaborative efforts with the quintessentially British label Dr. Martens via a new lookbook, Japanese stalwart BAPE has given us a closer look at every item in the collection. The full capsule includes a work shirt featuring both brand's label patched on, a variety of T-shirts featuring BAPE's signature CAMO motif along with signature Dr. Martens silhouettes: the 3-Eye shoe and the 8-Eye Boot.

A Full Look at the Nike “Russian Floral” Pack

After teasing its Air Force 1 Low "Black/University Red" Paisley Pattern, we finally get a full look at the collection in its entirety. The “Russian Floral” pack will include the Nike Air Huarache, Blazer Low, Air Max 90, Benassi Slides, and the earlier mentioned, Air Force 1 Low. Like the Air Force 1, each silhouette predominately features a black upper with embossed detailing, and is detailed with the “Russian Floral” paisley pattern in red and yellow.

Stüssy Releases a Rugged Extra Tough Workgear Capsule Collection

As a lead into the release of its Spring 2018 collection, Stüssy recently released a rugged Extra Tough Workgear capsule. Serving to ease fans into the upcoming season, the collection channels classic workwear codes through the streetwear imprint's signature Californian aesthetic.

Tie-dye, pigment dye and archive graphics serve as the main design elements of the range comprised of jackets, overalls, sweaters, T-shirts and pants. Some standout items include an everyday wear reversible bomber, garage-ready polycotton overall and a thick psychedelic tie-dye hoodie.

Stüssy's Extra Tough Workgear capsule collection will be available at Dover Street Market London, Stüssy Chapter stores and stussy.com this Friday, January 19.

The Balenciaga Triple S in Distressed Grey Gets a Restock

Balenciaga's highly-sought after Triple S Trainer is returning in a modest grey colorway. The silhouette, which has been selling out since its introduction last year, is constructed of nubuck and mesh materials throughout its upper with a mix of varying grey hues. The model then goes chunky with its stacked sole unit finished up with speckled laces and Balenciaga's branding stitched into the lateral sides.

Disney Releases the Official Plot Summary for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’

The forthcoming standalone Star Wars film is well underway -- despite previous directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord stepping away from the project and Ron Howard stepping in. With only four months until the highly-anticipated movie hits the big screen, Disney has now shared the official plot summary for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

According to Lucasfilm Inc. and Disney the picture will take place several years prior to Han meeting Luke and Obi-Wan:

"Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes."

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo alongside Donald Glover as Lando. Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke also star in the film. Solo is still set to come out on May 25. Stay tuned for an official trailer to drop soon.

J.W. Anderson’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Stars in New Editorial

Designer J.W. Anderson first previewed his Spring/Summer 2018 offering this past summer in Florence -- presenting a vibrant collection brimming with heart prints and vintage advertising accents. Upon receiving Delivery 1 of the seasonal lineup, Notre put together an editorial display to help showcase select pieces from the range.

adidas Updates the UltraBOOST With a “Blue Heel” Colorway

Adding to its range of UltraBOOST colorways, adidas recently unveiled an all-new "Blue Heel" look for the popular running model.

The latest iteration of the UltraBOOST features a speckled Primeknit upper accented by a grey TPU midfoot cage and a blue heel counter. While a full-length pure white BOOST midsole and a black Continental rubber outsole rounds up the design of the shoe.

Priced at $180 USD, the "Blue Heel" UltraBOOST is set to release sometime this Spring at select adidas retailers.

MAPLE & Friends Gather for a Night out to Showcase Fall/Winter 2018 Lineup

MAPLE is back to showcase its goods for the Fall/Winter 2018 season by unveiling a new lookbook -- presenting a wide range of eclectic accessory pieces. Gathered over savory izakaya and cold brew, the Vancouver-based brand enlists the help of good friends -- director Blair Dobson and musical act So Loki -- to front the visual display.
