Drake Says “Free Meek Mill” During Melbourne Show

Even though Drake and Meek Mill have not officially resolved their feud, the OVO mogul gave the Philadelphia rapper a shout out during a performance in Melbourne, Australia. After spotting a fan in the crowd wearing a "Free Meek Mill" t-shirt, Drizzy said, "Free Meek Mill too. You right."

Meek is currently serving out a two-to-four year prison sentence for violating his probation. Many have voiced out how the sentence seems unjust. JAY-Z even wrote a New York Times op-ed talking about how Meek's sentence is an example of the racial injustices that occur within the criminal justice system in America.

Post Malone Is Buying a $3 Million Apocalypse Shelter in Utah

Post Malone was featured as guest on the H3 podcast earlier this summer. During the conversation, the Texas singer-songwriter revealed that he wanted to build an apocalypse shelter. "I’m just buying a place out in the sticks," he said. "I’m building it underground. It’s going to be fun until the world ends. But whenever the world ends, it’s going to be functional."

Malone specified in the interview that the ideal location of this shelter would be in northern Nevada. However, he followed-up in a Rolling Stone interview published yesterday that he will be buying a 13,000-square-foot home in northern Utah for $3 million.

"I'm gonna put in, like, 30 bunk beds," Post said. "It's free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy sh*t. I can't wait."

He wasn't shy to talk about his gun collection in the interview. It includes an M14 rifle -- "the gun Navy SEALs use," a Walther PPK, which he refered to as "James Bond's gun," a Desert Eagle, Colt M1911, two gold-plated Glocks, an AR-15, a pump-action Mossberg shotgun, Glock 19 and an FN Five-Seven pistol with a laser sight. "I have a lot of valuable sh*t," he says. "I have a lot of friends I wanna protect."

In the interview, Post also had a few opinions on Justin Bieber and Hillsong Church -- the megachurch Bieber attends. "It's a total cult," Malone said in reference to Hillsong. "He's already given them, like, $10 million. Those are the worst kinds of people. I used to be super-religious. I believed in God. But now I see through it. It's nice to support something you believe in, I guess, but people are spending so much money, and God doesn't care that your church has a f*cking gold roof."

Nike Air Footscape Mid Utility Receives Outdoor-Enhancing Reboot

The Nike Air Footscape is getting a serious revamp with a rugged reconstruction that leaves it in prime outdoors condition. The updated silhouette will be arriving in two trail-ready colorways of "Green" and "Mushroom."

Nike's reworked Air Footscape Mid Utility edition retains the original's asymmetrical lacing system but updates the drawstring mechanism for easier slip-on access. The lacing system also migrates to the heel of the shoe, allowing the ankle collar to adjust to the wearer's preference and to prevent entry of any water. Another notable addition is the signature waffle outsole, taken from other Nike iterations, used to enhance traction and add a more robust edge for outdoor excursions. Lastly, a reinforced toe panel means that the upper is protected while maintaining a stylish look.

The "Green" colorway sees a mixed brown, grey, and green upper that rests atop a white midsole and black outsole. The "Mushroom" version's upper arrives in a more understated pale pink tone and sits on an off-white sole unit. Both colorways are now available for $175 USD at select Nike retailers and on the Swoosh's web store.

How Kanye West Made His Most Influential Auto-Tune Album, ‘808s & Heartbreak’

Today, Kanye West is known for the eclectic artistry found on his albums, but when 'Ye first released 808s & Heartbreak, many questioned his experimentation. Looking to understand the auto-tuned album, YouTube channel Noisy Images recently took an in-depth look at the creation and context behind West's most influential album.

Released in 2008, 808s & Heartbreak is an expression of West's endurance through personal tragedies and struggles, as his adversities sparked an artistic awakening within him. The video outlines how West's urge to create pushed him to develop his now signature eclecticism and penchant for experimentation and collaboration. Additionally, it explores why West chose to use auto-tune for its robotic nature and how he reacted to critics that scoffed at him singing on his album.

After watching the video above, check out why and how Kanye West made his groundbreaking and divisive album, Yeezus.

LaVar Ball and President Trump Beef Over LiAngelo’s Release From China

We're not even a third of the way into the new NBA season and Lavar Ball, father of LA Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, has already garnered a reputation for being a divisive figure -- he gave further credence to that reputation by firing off at President Trump during an ESPN interview today.

Mere days after LiAngelo Ball and his two UCLA teammates held a conference to apologize for their unlawful actions in China and to thank Donald Trump for apparently negotiating on their behalf, LaVar Ball has questioned the legitimacy of Trump's involvement asking, "what was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out."

President Trump clapped back in prompt fashion stating: "[...] LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!" While it's unlikely the role President Trump played in the return of the UCLA players will ever become clear, it's certain that LaVar Ball's middle son broke the law in China.
