Supreme’s Yellow Plant Tee Sold Out Faster Than the Serrano Collab Items

We're now into week 5 of this season's drops from Supreme and the brand continues to sell out items at unimaginable times (thanks to bots also). This time around, the most hyped pieces included the Andres Serrano collab products, Playboy varsity jackets, the big box logo long-sleeve tees, some never-before-seen graphic t-shirts and the Bang and Olufsen portable speakers. It would look like the 'Blood and Semen' series by Serrano would be the fastest to go but fans had another item they wanted more.

The yellow plant tee was the quickest to hit and leave carts as it was gone in 10 seconds. The shirt was followed by the Serrano Vans at 16 seconds and the dusty-blue Playboy varsity jacket at 35 seconds. It also looked like 'Preme heads were more focused on apparel and accessories as the Bang and Olufsen portable speakers remained available for quite some time.

Suge Knight Believes Tupac Is Still Alive

The conspiracy theory of Tupac still continues to live on, only this time it's coming from one of Pac's closest confidantes when he was alive, Suge Knight. During a new interview with Ice-T and Soledad O'Brien, the Death Row founder told the hosts he believes there's a good chance Tupac Shakur may still be alive saying him and Tupac were laughing in the hospital on the night of the shooting. "I mean, when I left that hospital, me and Pac was laughing and joking. So I don’t see how somebody can turn from doing well to doing bad. I’m gonna tell you that with Pac, you never know."

The Death Row CEO revealed this information over the phone while currently being held in the L.A. County jail. Meanwhile, there's an upcoming TV special called Who Shot Biggie & Tupac? -- where Ice-T and Soledad will take on an investigation into the unsolved murders of Biggie and Pac -- that airs this weekend on September 24 via FOX. Could this just all be one big marketing ploy? Share your thoughts below.

‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’ Trailer Teases Story Mode & New Original Character

Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ featuring an original character named Android 21 and the title's story mode. Android 21 is a cyborg that represents the nefarious Red Ribbon Army, an organization that Goku has been facing off against since he was a child.

Producer on the game Tomoko Hiroki described how involved Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s was in designing Android 21 stating: “We basically said what the character was, such as her gender and her personality. We said what kind of character we wanted, and gave Toriyama the plot. Then, he was able to freely draw the character.”

Developers would also show art and footage of the game to Toei, responsible for animating the series, and Shueisha, responsible for publishing the manga, for overall guidance in making the characters and overall Dragon Ball universe as close to the original material as possible. While Android was designed for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Hiroki said she would be happy if the character became popular enough to make the leap to the Dragon Ball anime.

MAD Architects Proposes Turning Paris’s Tour Montparnasse Into a Giant Mirror

Beijing-based firm MAD Architects has announced a mind-boggling proposal for the Tour Montparnasse skyscraper in Paris, France. The surreal renovation scheme focuses on creating a monumental lighting installation that portrays an upturned reflection of the French capital including the world-renowned Eiffel Tower -- a mirror effect of sorts.

The design itself consists of differently-angled glass panels applied onto the facade of the tower. “At the time when it was built, Montparnasse Tower, like the Eiffel Tower, represented the pride and achievements of its era,” said lead architect Ma Yansong of MAD to designboom. “It is mankind’s worship of technology and power that has created this tyrannical monument."

In regards to the establishment's juxtaposing design amidst the more historic buildings in Paris, Yansong added: "Today, we cannot really demolish this building and the historical regrets it stands for, but we can establish a new perspective to re-examine and think about how humanity can co-exist and interact with the tower and its environment, to bring meaning to our hearts."

Watch the video above and learn more about the project by visiting MAD Architects' official website.

Google Buys HTC’s Pixel Team for $1.1 Billion USD

Google has signed a $1.1 billion USD cooperation agreement with HTC in an attempt to help develop its growing hardware division. Previously, Google took a stake in smartphone manufacturer Motorola in 2011 for $12.5 billion USD before reselling it to Lenovo for $2.91 billion USD three years later. It's speculated moving forward that Google is taking an Apple-like strategy toward its products, making software and hardware in tandem, and hiring Motorola's former chief operating officer Rick Osterloh to helm the hardware team.

The first products developed under his leadership were the Pixel, Pixel XL, and the Daydream View VR headset. Google is also rumored to be interested in chip manufacturing, which could allow it to compete even better with deeply integrated systems like Apple's iPhone without having to rely on third-party companies like Qualcomm. According to HTC's CFO Peter Shen, half of the 4,000 people in his company's R&D team will join Google.

However, Shen emphasized HTC will continue producing its own line of smartphones, including its next flagship product. The partnership also allows Google a non-exclusive license for a large part of HTC's intellectual property. The deal is expected to be approved and closed by early 2018.
