"New York is that bad bitch who doesn’t give you the time of day… but you love her for it." The Staple crew was almost at its wit's end thanks to the near-constant barrage of terrible weather that's hit the Big Apple over the past few months. Thankfully, the creative team at Brickhouse Projects came to the rescue, coming up with a way to do something beautiful with the ever-present snow to highlight Staple's Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The resulting two-part lookbook - dubbed "SEASONAL AFFECTIVE" - symbolizes the ongoing love-hate relationship many have with New York as it's both grimy and gorgeous, obscured and bright. Enjoy part one above and stay tuned for the second installment of the piece. Staple's Spring 2014 release is now available via Reed Space.

adidas Originals seems to have a limitless number of tricks up its sleeve this year, pulling out the ZX Zero collection for Spring/Summer 2014. The ZX Zero utilizes a full-length mesh bootie on the first layer of the upper, encased in a synthetic cage for optimal comfort and flexibility. ADIPRENE® cushioning in the midsole only serves to enhance these features. Combining classic running style with futuristic detailing, look for the ZX Zero to drop in three colors on March 1.

Having followed the movement for some time, HYPETRAK was finally able to catch up with TDE's very own ScHoolboy Q ahead of his third studio album's release. The California-based rapper spared some wisdom surrounding the pressures of making Oxymoron, drawing inspiration from the canon of West Coast hip-hop, and misconceptions about his life in between filming for Future's "Move That Dope" music video. Despite his laid-back demeanor, ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron is a meticulously worked and mastered album, underlined by the above conversation. Enjoy the latest from HYPETRAK TV, and if you haven't already, be sure to purchase Oxymoron on iTunes.

Originally released back in 1992, PUMA has resurrected its Trinomic XS850 for a Spring/Summer 2014 release as a part of its newly-established "CREAM" program. Noteworthy for its Trinomic technology of honeycomb-like clear rubber hexagonal cells - providing a perfect combination of cushioning, flexibility, and stability thanks to their ability to collapse and expand - the 2014 retro of the early '90s trail shoe retains the neon accents and abstract prints of the era in the form of its neon pink accents and signature heel splatter. Constructed of mesh and suede for both breathability and durability, the CREAM edition of the XS850 OG will soon be available at select PUMA stockists.
