Building on the ardent heritage of sports and lifestyle, PUMA by Alexander McQueen unveils some new models this season including the number above. Titled the Medius, at first glance the classic profile conjures hints of Nordic pattern-work, but at closer inspection, a patriotic Britannia stitch reveals itself on the retro upper. Uninhibited with nostalgic design that is recognizably Alexander McQueen, the woven and etched fabric is accented with leather highlights at the heel and tongue. Embracing the seasonal theme of folklore and leisure without forgoing classic British characteristics, the Medius is available in green and caramel or pure red tone, and will hit select stores soon.

adidas Originals takes an innovative approach to the animal patterns popping up more and more this season with the release of the Water Color Animal Print Pack for its 2013 spring/summer adidas Consortium collection. Consisting of the Matchplay, Tech Super and Strider models, the three styles are based on a classic adidas silhouette, a runner, and a basketball shoe, respectively.
First up is the Matchplay. The silhouette is classic with the hand-painted pattern taking up most of the real estate of the shoe, but underlined by a thick white outsole and tied together with unintrusive black laces, the style is simple and cohesive. In addition to the highly visible shots of red on the heel and tongue, the shoe is finished off with subtle black embroidered dots.
Next up is the Tech Super. Straight out of the '90s, it maintains its running heritage despite being updated with premium materials including high-quality leather, nappy suede and stretch mesh. Lined with soft leather, the shoe gives off a sleek but muted appearance thanks to its heavy use of black, but it does receive some appropriate amount of contrast from the yellow laces, tongue tab and trim along the heel.
Last but not least is the '80s-inspired Strider with a white high-quality leather and nubuck upper with a perforated toe box and matching laces. Easily the most retro-looking, it gets a colorful contrast as well thanks to the sky blue trim and tongue tab.
Those looking to snag any one pair from the collection can look forward to seeing it in select stockists this March including XLarge.
Casio releases a new "Geometric" edition of its G-Shock DW-6900. Using a new coating technique, the case, bezel and band are crafted of black resin. The tonal black model is contrast by a silver-colored metal central G button. In addition to being waterproof up to 200 meters, the watch features the typical functions we're used to seeing in G-Shocks including stopwatch, timer, multi-alarm, full auto calendar and back light.
Due for release in March, you can find the watch at select stockists including Sushi-Kitchen which carries the watch for $240 USD.
